▫️picanha steaks
▫️garlic, minced
▫️onion, finely chopped
▫️butter
▫️thyme
▫️rosemary
▫️salt and pepper
Instructions:
1. Season the picanha steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
3. Add minced garlic and chopped onion to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent and the garlic is fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
4. Place the picanha steaks on the pan, fat side down. Sear the fat side for about 2-3 minutes.
5. Flip the steaks and cook them on one side for about 4 minutes.
6. Add the 2 tablespoons of butter, fresh thyme, and rosemary to the skillet. Let the butter melt and herbs infuse the flavor.
7. After 4 minutes, flip the steaks again. Brush the tops of the steaks with the melted butter mixture, thyme, and rosemary.
Cook for an additional 4 minutes for medium-rare doneness.
8. Remove the steaks from the pan and let them rest for a few minutes.
10. Slice the steaks against the grain and serve hot.
Enjoy! 😋
