Ingredients:
* veal chops
* salt
* pepper
* oil
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C)
2. Season both sides of veal chops generously with salt and black pepper.
3. Add oil to the skillet. Once the oil is hot, add the veal chops. Sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
4. Once both sides are nicely seared, transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the veal chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare or 160°F (71°C) for medium. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the chops.
5. Remove the skillet from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
