Recipe of the week - Rib Roast 👨🍳
Ingredients:
•6 lb bone-in rib roast
•Salt
•Black pepper
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F
2. Place the rib roast on a rack in a roasting pan.
3. Generously season the roast with salt and pepper, covering all sides.
4. Place the roast in the preheated oven and sear for 15-20 minutes.
5. Reduce the oven temperature to 300°F and continue roasting for about 2 hours for medium-rare doneness.
6. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the roast. It should read 130-135°F for medium-rare, 140°F for medium, 150°F for well-done.
7. Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for about 15-20 minutes before slicing.
8. Slice the rib roast and serve with your favorite side dishes.
