Recipe of the week - Roasted Pork Shoulder👨🍳
Ingredients:
* 4-5 lbs pork shoulder
* 4 cloves garlic, minced
* 2 tbsp olive oil
* 2 tsp dried oregano
* 2 tsp smoked paprika
* 1 tsp cumin
* 1 tsp onion powder
* Salt and black pepper to taste
* 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
2. Pat the boneless pork shoulder dry with paper towels.
3. In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, dried oregano, smoked paprika, cumin, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to form a paste.
4. Rub the spice mixture all over the boneless pork shoulder, ensuring it covers the entire surface. Allow the pork to marinate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors infuse.
5. Place the pork in a roasting pan. Pour chicken broth into the bottom of the pan to keep the meat moist during roasting.
6. Roast the pork in the preheated oven for approximately 3 to 3.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 190°F (88°C). Baste the pork with pan juices every hour to enhance the flavors and keep it moist.
7. Once done, remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for about 20 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.
8. Carve the succulent roasted pork shoulder into slices, and serve with your favorite sides.
The flavorful and juicy meat is sure to be a hit at your table.
Enjoy! 😋
