Recipe of the Week - BBQ Chicken Wings 👨‍🍳

• 2 pounds chicken wings
• 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 tablespoons honey
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
• 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
• Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce, olive oil, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. This will be your marinade and glaze for the chicken wings.
3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them until well coated with the marinade. Allow the wings to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or refrigerate them for up to 24 hours for maximum flavor.
4. Place the marinated chicken wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each wing.
5. Bake the chicken wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until they are cooked through and the skin is crispy and golden brown. Flip the wings halfway through the cooking time to ensure even browning.
6. Once cooked, remove the wings from the oven and brush them with any remaining marinade for added flavor.
7. Optional: If desired, garnish the wings with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of freshness and color.
8. Serve the baked BBQ chicken wings hot as an appetizer or main course. They pair well with additional BBQ sauce for dipping and can be accompanied by celery sticks, carrot sticks, or your favorite side dishes such as coleslaw or potato wedges.
